Life science and biotechnology has undoubtedly become one of the world's most rapidly developing fields of science and technology, and has made a series of breakthroughs, the biological reagent industry is in the upstream of the life science research industry chain, the development is particularly rapid, biological reagents refer to biological materials or organic compounds related to life science research, as well as clinical diagnosis, medical research reagents. Challenge

The transportation and storage conditions of biological reagents are very strict. Since biological products consist of proteins, fats, sugars and nucleic acids, they must be prevented from deactivation during transportation and storage. If cargo damage occurs, the loss of assets is huge, and many antibody class reagents and enzyme class reagents are expensive and can reach thousands of dollars/mg (i.e. hundreds and tens of millions of dollars per kilogram), and the loss is often generated by batch type, which has to be cautious. As the life sciences research is subdivided into many directions, the research object is very complex, accordingly, the need to use a wide range of biological reagents. In terms of broad categories, molecular reagents mainly include nucleic acids and enzymes, protein reagents mainly include antibodies, antigens and recombinant proteins, cellular reagents mainly include culture media and transfection reagents, etc.. In fact, the storage temperature and humidity conditions for different biological reagents are different. Storage conditions generally require a low temperature and 35% to -75% humidity environment. According to the types of biological reagents to be transported, for some enzymes and other protein products, dry ice is required for transportation, while wet ice is sufficient for most other biochemical reagents. Dry ice or solid carbon dioxide, the temperature is -78℃, wet ice is the temperature of ice, generally for the freezing condition, such as the temperature of ice frozen at -20℃. Usually ice is used for transportation instead of crushed ice; crushed ice has a high temperature, while ice has a lower temperature; ice can maintain low temperature for a longer time; crushed ice can easily turn into water. In biological reagent storage, biological reagent cold storage as well as biological reagent storage refrigerators are used in large quantities, with many refrigerators and cumbersome management, such as abnormalities in temperature and humidity, which are not handled in time and have the risk of inactivation.
